Hare Says: Where did the summer go? I'm still waiting for the hot weather. As Labor Day approaches it's time, once again, for the Anal Beach Blanket Bingo party and hash at Padaro Lane beach. We will start the day early at 10am with delicious Bloody Mary's followed by a crafty trail laid by our illustrious hares Cha Cha and Boomer. After down downs we will retreat to the sandy beach to spend the day playing in the surf and bronzing on the sand. We will need people to bring food and beverages to share. Real food is great. KFC, stuff people can eat. We don't need 15 bags of chips. We will also need a few toys to play with. In the last few years some amazing people have brought kayaks, inflatable dolls, frisbees etc.. Don't forget an umbrella and your sunscreen. To get to the start exit the 101 SB at Padaro Ln. south of Summerland and head over to the parking lot by the train tracks. NB the exit is called Summerland. Left over the 101 and LFH. Cost for the day is a low low $5 for the hash portion and any bucks you may want to carry on trail. The hash doesn't really foot the bill for the beer consumed on the beach so maybe bring a sixer to share. On On to the Surf!
